The purpose of this position is to enhance Human Capital Management initiatives for Austin Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) by developing, implementing, and managing complex department-wide programs that integrate multiple elements to achieve departmental goals and objectives that impact both internal and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for providing guidance to managers and supervisors on Talent Management programs such as employee on-boarding, employee development, workforce planning, performance appraisal system, and succession planning. We are looking for a talent management candidate who has the ability and initiative to understand business needs, analyze issues and influence solutions/outcomes. This individual must be self-driven and have the capability and confidence to interface effectively with senior leaders and multiple stakeholders. A strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, influencing skills, planning skills and program/project management skills are critical for this role. This individual must thrive in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
Driving on City business: This position must travel between various locations as part of the regular job duties and individual may be required to drive own personal vehicle or City vehicle. Successful candidate must be in possession of a Texas driver’s license as authorized by the Texas Transportation Code. A driving record verification will be conducted. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
