Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Professional Instructor I: Any combination equivalent to a 4-year degree (Professional Certification may substitute for degree) PLUS 1-7 years experience
Zone I : 1 + Year Experience – $15 per hour
Zone II : 2+ Year Experience – $16 per hour
Zone III: 4+ Year Experience – $17 per hour
Zone IV: 5+ Year Experience – $18 per hour
Zone V: 6-7 Year Experience – $19 per hour

Professional Instructor II: Any combination equivalent to a 4-year degree (Professional Certification may substitute for degree) PLUS 8+ years experience
Zone I: 8 + Year Experience – $20 per hour
Zone II: 12 + Year Experience – $25 per hour
Zone III: 15+ Year Experience – $30 per hour
Zone IV: 20+ Year Experience – $35 per hour

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

  • Prepare lesson plans
  • Plans course content and method of presentation or delivery
  • Selects and assembles materials, equipment, and other instructional aids
  • Schedules, registers, and conducts classes and workshops
  • Adapts workshops and classes to student age, physical ability, and interests
  • Provides individual coaching
  • Ensures safe and proper use of equipment and materials
  • Selects, stores, and inventories equipment and supplies
  • Maintains student records and provides data to program personnel

  • Ability to bend, lift, walk, carry or use a force equal to lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds
