This position will be working out of the Austin Central Library supporting staff and customers at all Austin Public Library locations. The position will be part of team consisting of System Admins and Support Analyst. The team works a HelpDesk and supports all customer and staff infrastructure including but not limited to Desktops, Virtual Computing, VOIP Phones, Mobile Devices, Printing, Wireless, Video over IP, Operating Systems, Software, and Applications.

Pay Range

$22.83 – $28.39
Commensurate

Hours

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(evening, night, morning, and weekend hours will be required)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an IT shop with a Service, Incident, or HelpDesk call tracking application.
  • Experience in a Windows Networked Computer environment, supporting workstations, servers, VOIP phones, peripherals, printers, wireless, and network equipment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting TCP/IP issues. DNS/DHCP
  • Experience supporting Windows 7 & 10, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016.
  • Experience supporting MS Office and Office365.
  • Basic knowledge and skills in the use of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience with Meraki Wireless equipment and software
