Preferred Qualifications

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities

Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

  1. Researches, analyzes, architects, develops, implements and configures technological solutions
  2. Administers, monitors, and maintains one or more IT systems
  3. Investigates and analyzes complex business requirements
  4. Provides impact analysis and recommends appropriate solutions
  5. Identifies opportunities for asset reuse across multiple projects
  6. Responds to issues from the user community
  7. Prepares and maintains documentation related to the development and maintenance of systems
  8. Participates in the development of business process models and data flow diagrams for all levels of the organization
  9. Performs bug tracking and quality assurance tasks
  10. Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans
  11. Develops and/or delivers training
  12. Creates and prepares reports and analysis
  13. Installs new software releases and/or upgrades
  14. Establishes IT policies, procedures and security requirements
