DRIVER’S LICENSE
Driving on City business: This position must travel between various locations as part of the regular job duties and individual may be required to drive own personal vehicle or City vehicle. Successful candidate must be in possession of a Texas driver’s license as authorized by the Texas Transportation Code. A driving record verification will be conducted. Applicants for positions for which City driving is an essential function must meet the standards of the program: age 18 or older, current applicable driver’s license, proof of insurability, and no more than six (6) points assessed on Driver Record Evaluation (DRE) based on Department of Public Safety (DPS) Driver Record Report. This position falls under the COA safe driver program requirements. VETERAN
Veteran candidates will be required to provide a copy of their DD214 at the time of interview.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL
This position is categorized as an Essential Personnel. Essential personnel are required to come to work during emergencies or bad weather at the airport if they are scheduled to work and in some cases when they are not scheduled.

CHBC
Top candidate will be subject to a minimum 10 year criminal background check and security threat assessment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent sitting to perform computer and/or administrative tasks. Reasonable dexterity of hands, fingers and arms to operate and/or manipulate computer, keyboard, mouse, copy machine and other office equipment. Ability to communicate clearly, using face-to-face contact, telephones, and e-mails
Frequent walking short distances on hard surface Stand on hard surfaces on and off- up to 1 hour at a time. Ability to demonstrate mental alertness during the entire 10 hour day. Utilize mental capacity in order to read maps and articulate clearly directions to various locations throughout Austin area
Occasionally may need to go up and down stairs. Ability to bend and pick up small items. Lift and/or carry documents/boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. Occasional turning/twisting upper body/head from side to side.

Receives by email, fax, or phone, inquiries from customers, contractors, and other city departments. Resolves customer issues with one call resolution.
Answers customer requests or inquiries concerning services, products, billing, and equipment.
Verifies customer account and active services using various databases and software applications.
Researches customer account information to explain services, charges, and adjustments.
Logs customer complaints, creates service requests, and routes to the appropriate department(s).
Maintains and files all generated service requests.

May train others.
