Preferred Qualifications

- Prefer experience and knowledge of music venue related permitting rules and responsibilities;
-Prefer experience with and/or knowledge of sound equipment, sound engineering and sound management;
-Prefer experience in responding to customer or neighborhood complaints and conducting research and fact-finding to help identify issues;
-Prefer experience in the music venue and nightlife industry.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities

Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

  1. Monitor department/program quality indicators.
  2. Coordinate with other agencies/personnel for certain aspects of mutual research or investigation.
  3. Counsel/facilitate interventions for the prevention of errors involving department/program plans.
  4. Prepare training plans and documents, train staff regarding program implementation as directed.
  5. Follow up on client or customer complaints (e.g. 'hot line' calls or CAF's).
  6. Conduct fact finding and/or informational survey by interview or other means.
  7. Conduct investigations for department/program plan.
  8. Conduct checks of department/program sites (i.e. clinics, offices) to assure compliance with policies and procedures.
  9. Research information as requested and/or needed.
  10. Compile data and write informational reports.
  11. Perform tasks related to department/program surveying and reporting
