Duties, Functions and Responsibilities

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following:

  • Cleaning and Supplying designated building areas
  • Carrying out deep cleaning assignments with regards to floors, window, eaves, overhangs.
  • General Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of floors of the pro shops, cart barns and maintenance areas.
  • Secure cleaning chemicals, paper products and janitorial equipment.
  • Clean sinks, toilets, urinals and showers in public restrooms as well as staff restrooms.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

  • Operate a light duty vehicle such as a golf cart. (drivers license not required)
  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to mix solutions according to manufacturer’s suggested labels.
  • Ability to bend at the waist or knees to carry out duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to assess needs and work under light supervision.
  • Ability to follow proper personal protective guidelines with regards to working with pathogens and chemicals.
