Variable-25 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
8:00 am – 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• May be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays and during special events and programming needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer Experience in the following:
• Strong computer skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with registration software.
• Direct customer service experience.
• Answering phone calls and handling in-person customers.
• Experience cash handling, including point of sale (POS).
• Processing and/or entering personal information into a database
Other preferred experience:
• Experience communicating information clearly and concisely in person, by phone, email, etc., while exercising tact, patience and discretion in a professional demeanor.
• Experience maintaining and establishing working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, other City personnel and the public.
• Excellent writing/composition skills, organizational skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to multitask.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities

The Office Attendant is a temporary staff position scheduled to work 25 hours per week.

Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

1. Data enter registrations for all Aquatic programs.
2. Troubleshoot registration errors throughout the season.
3. Prepare daily cash handling closeouts.
4. Answer questions or concerns regarding the Instructional Swim Program.
5. Demonstrate cooperative behavior with team, supervisors and the public.
6. Verbally communicate effectively with staff and the public.
7. Provide information and directions.
8. Other related duties may be assigned.
